What is Chiwawa..?
Majority of us are familiar with food available in Japanese, Korean, and Thai restaurant. How about a Mexican's? For anyone who loves to explore new food, Chiwawa is a Mexican restaurant located just beside Bella Italia in Gaya Street, Kota Kinabalu.
Coincidently, we were wearing red, yellow, and blue! D: LOL |
Creative painting inside, with western feel..
It is a very small corner lot which only fits one table inside. The entire tables are outside the restaurant (by the roadside). |

So, Chiwawa is actually selling burrito - a Mexican dish which is wrapped with flour tortilla into a cylindrical shape to completely enclose the fillings.
How to order???
For a first-timer, u would be ambiguous on "what can I get here & how to order?"

Here's our food...
Burrito has been popular in foreign cities such as San Diego, San Francisco, and Los Angeles ever since Mexico brought it into their cuisine. This is because it is easily made yet nice, and could be taken on the go wrapped in paper or foil (convenient for ppl nowadays with busy lifestyle).
Although some Asians might not like the combined taste or could not accept rice to be eaten in such a way; nevertheless, burrito is not bad at all. I love the way it mixes everything perfectly in juicy texture, and even till the last bite I would hardly get satiated with it. After all, Chiwawa is another nice place serving nice burrito, thus I shall visit there again next time. =D
